Dina DiMarco is an up-and-coming young vocalist from the small town of Wethersfield Connecticut. She is now in high demand for her vocal performances holding an extremely dynamic range, colorful stage presence, and uniquely informed approach. Combining her knowledge of jazz, funk, and musical theater she’s a highly versatile singer ready for any performance.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2020 and studied jazz voice under Atla DeChamplain. She also worked with the great Jimmy Greene while in her program. She acquired a minor in theatre arts alongside her jazz studies. Dina also was a part of the Women in Jazz Organization (WIJO) and studied with grammy-nominated vocalist/pianist, Rachel Eckroth. She is currently a graduate student for her Master of Science in Music Therapy at Molloy University. She is expecting to graduate in 2026 as a Board Certified Music Therapist and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in the state of New York.
Dina has performed with outstanding musicians such as Ed Fast’s Congabop, The Leala Cyr Quintet, Matt DeChamplain, and After School Special. Her personal work consists of The Dina DiMarco & Mike Gaboardi Duo, and her funk/neo-soul group Out of Orbit, (featuring original music/lyrics composed by herself, Ryan Papagelis, Griffin D’Amato, Mike Gaboardi, Aidhan Roque, and Elijah Atkins.) These groups showcase her wide range of original music, lyricism, and arrangements. She continues to perform alongside her studies and use her new knowledge to inform further performances.
Outside of performance and academia, Dina teaches. She is a private voice and piano instructor with a wide range of ages and abilities in her students. She has also been the youth voice ensemble director for Charter Oak Cultural Center in Hartford CT. Dina continues her private lessons alongside early childhood music education with Music Together. Dina is a Certified Teacher of Music Together Worldwide where she teaches newborns-5 year olds in mixed ages music classes.
